Circular economy

The opposite of circular economy is the linear  “take, make, dispose” economic model which relies on large quantities of cheap, easily accessible materials and energy. This linear economic model is reaching its physical limits fast together with creating stress on the planet.

The alternative is circular economy that is a continuous, positive development cycle. It preserves and enhances natural capital, optimizes resource yields, and minimises system risks by managing finite stocks and renewable flows. A circular economy works efficient at every scale and is easily understood.
